New media, new skills - web design and consultancy

Much as we like paper, the screen is here to stay.

I designed this site (for the fifth time). But also:

• Space Captain Smith, hero of the British Space Empire (has just had a huge redesign, adding Smithipedia)
• Pulse Romance, for all your romantic needs!
• Jacqui Gayle, Reiki Master
• Ramidus Consulting, my regular research partner
• Leenix, … did some copy for my web-host

I like a website to be clean, simple and standards compliant. No "Click here to enter" pages, no fancy-dan Flash animations. Just content that the visitor needs, where it is needed.

I have also made ultra-low budget videos for:

• YoungMinds, the children's mental health charity (seven videos); for Myrmidon Books, Gladiatrix (very popular that one!), Space Captain Smith, and Verulam Writers' Circle, celebrating its annual conference.
• This: for Kate Allan, was shot entirely on an iPhone 4, as was this: The Odyssey cinema project.
